Yes. And yes.

Alex Deve

now you're just teasing :)

Michael Sippey

this must have been really popular in france.

Alex Deve

i blame my dad! ;)

Ewa

Alex - maybe it is a Euro thing. I remember this exact hit and it was HUGE in Poland. On the other hand, do you still drive that red VW rabbit with top down, wear a pink Lacoste sweater draped over your shoulders, and listen to EuroDisco?

Xris Ernest Hall

I think I can say without fear of contradiction that I have an extensive knowledge of 80s music, of many different genres--and I have never heard this song before. Perhaps it was only popular in Europe?

Chris Alden

Not only do not think that anyone has heard of this guy, I half suspect that YOU hadn't actually heard this guy, but rather are just trying to cover up for a dirty YouTube search gone wrong... :)

Michael Sippey

Regardless of whatever Alex says in reply to this comment, that description of him is PERFECTLY ACCURATE.

Michael Sippey

Cop out.

Rahul Ganjoo

I'm with you on this Alex - This was HUGE in India and still is the theme of all retro parties there. Really surprised so many folks haven't heard this. :)

Alex Deve

It is definitely one of those things that we'll always be glad and fortunate to have experienced!

Alex Deve

I can't really deny that one :p

Alex Deve

not my fault if You Tube is too hard!

Rahul Ganjoo

I'm assuming folks haven't heard this either [another favorite :)]

Bony M isn't a guy, it's a group! Huge in Europe, Africa and Asia in the 80s.

Rahul Ganjoo

Yeah, and it's Boney M :)."Bony" gives it a different meaning altogether :)

moni

Oops - Boney M.

Yann

It was only popular in countries with real music culture and taste, obviously
